Yesterday, it was announced that T-Mobile will start selling the LG G4 starting today, May 27th. Now, it is today and the G4 is now available from T-Mobile, making it the first US carrier putting LG’s latest and greatest up for purchase. Normally, this wouldn’t be big news, as new smartphones launch on carriers all the time, but when T-Mobile is offering the G4 at a very reasonable price, along with a free, yes free, 128GB microSD card then there’s a little more fanfare needed for such a thing we feel.
As many of you know by now, T-Mobile does things a little differently, and you need to purchase the phone upfront or split the phone’s value across 24 months. Either way, you’ll end up paying $599.97 for either the Brown Leather or Metallic Grey versions of the G4, across 24 months that works out to something like $25 or so with your service on top. The G4 is already cheaper than the HTC One M9 which is $650 or so from T-Mobile, and the Galaxy S6 starts at $679.99 or so, making the G4 seem like pretty good value when you consider you’re getting a free 128GB microSD card (while stocks last, naturally) and you can remove and replace the battery in the G4.
We reviewed the G4 a little while ago and were very impressed with all the technical achievements that LG have managed to squeeze into such a neat package once again. The leather back and slightly curved display are icing on top with LG’s latest and greatest. Those keen to shy away from the hot potato that is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 will be pleased to hear that the LG G4 is powered by a Snapdragon 808 hexa-core CPU. With 3GB of RAM and a smartphone camera packed with laser autofocus, a color spectrum sensor and a full manual mode, the G4 is one of the most powerful smartphones available right now. Available from the source link below, get it while it’s hot, people.
