Meizu To Reveal A Special Edition Avengers Handset(s) As Well?

Meizu has been relatively quiet lately, we haven't even seen that much leaks regarding the company's upcoming products either. We did, however, see a rumor yesterday saying that Meizu's MX5 flagship and the M1 Note 2 might launch as soon as next month (June). This seems somewhat hard to believe because the MX4 was launched in September last year, and the M1 Note (first-gen) landed in December. Everything is possible though, of course, who knows, perhaps Meizu decided to change up their release cycle a little bit. Either way, we're not here to talk about those two devices, but something else that popped up in China recently, read on.

As you all probably know by now, Samsung and Marvel have partnered up and as a product of that partnership, Samsung will release Avengers-themed special edition handsets soon. Well, it seems like Meizu might do something similar, but in a different way. Samsung will be releasing a number of Galaxy S6 devices and accessories which will be themed outside and will quite probably ship with a lot of Avengers content on the inside (images and video). This new leak from China actually shows off what seems to be the company's M1 Note handset with an 'Avengers' logo on the back. The two devices pictures here are yellow and white, and it seems like this is the regular M1 Note handset with an imprinted 'Avengers' logo on the back. That's not all though, the source also says that the Meizu MX4 might join the M1 Note and also get the special edition version.

We cannot confirm any of this at the moment, of course, these are just leaked images in China, but the source seems to have some additional info regarding this whole thing. Both M1 Note and MX4 are expected to carry the Avengers logo on the back, and if the source is to be believed, these two devices will see the light of day on May 18. That is actually very specific for a random leak, so who knows. Keep in mind that these might be just random images of Meizu-branded devices carrying the Avengers logo imprinted by a third-party, or something similar to that. Either way, May 18 is less than 10 days away, so stay tuned.
