A few months back Lenovo announced their Mid-Ranged Smartphone, the Lenovo S60. Lenovo S60 was released in Russia a few days back for 290 bucks. Lenovo S60 is the latest smartphone in the S series and Lenovo has now launched the S60 in India. The Mid-Range smartphone will be available for Indian Rs. 12999. Lenovo S60 is also available in Pakistan now and can be bought through Lenovo’s official distributors and local markets.
Lenovo has four popular smartphone series, the A series, P series, S series and the Vibe Series. K series is a new series by Lenovo. The A series is an affordable series, it comprises of low-range and easy-to-use smartphones. Whereas the P series, is a professional series, comprising of high-end phones with good battery life. The S series is a stylish-feature-rich series, comprising of mid-range devices. The Vibe series is Lenovo’s Premium smartphone series. The Vibe series consist of the latest Vibe Shot, Vibe X, and Vibe Z2 Pro smartphones.
Lenovo’s S60 is usually criticized for being a look-alike or a clone of iPhone 5C. Lenovo S60, in fact, looked a lot like the budget edition iPhone 5C. Starting with the hardware of Lenovo S60, we have got a decent 4G LTE smartphone that is stylish as well as packs a decent set of hardware too. Lenovo’s S60 is thinner than the iPhone 5C being just 7.7 mm thick. Lenovo’s S60 has a 5.0 inches screen with 1280 x 720 resolution. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410 which house a Quad-core Cortex A53 1.4 GHz CPU and an Adreno 306 GPU. The SoC comes with integrated 3rd generation – energy efficient 4G LTE modem. The chipset is powerful enough to handle daily tasks without any hassles or signs of lag. It can also handle 1080p video capturing.
Lenovo S60 has a primary 13 MP camera capable of snapping 4128 x 3096 pixels pictures. The camera has autofocus and LED Flash. The secondary camera is a 5 MP unit great for taking social media selfies and online video chats. Android 4.4 KitKat comes pre-installed here with Lenovo’s Vibe 2.0 UI on top of it. This complete package would be running on a 2,150 mAh battery which might sound a little less to some of you. IT is also a Dual SIM Dual Standby phone.
