Back at the start of April, Huawei introduced a new smartphone to the market under the guise the Huawei SnapTo. This was not a major flagship release, but instead was a much more modest and budget focused smartphone. In terms of specs, the SnapTo comes with a 5-inch TFT HD display with a 1280 x 720 resolution. Moving to the inside of the device, the SnapTo is loaded with 1GB RAM and powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor (which clocks at 1.2 GHz). On the camera front, the SnapTo offers a 5-megapixel rear shooter coupled with a 2-megapixel front facing option. In terms of memory, the SnapTo is equipped with 8GB internal memory and also comes with the ability to increase the memory, thanks to the inclusion of a microSD card slot. Additional features on offer include a 2,200mAh battery, LTE support (AT&T and T-Mobile) and running on Android 4.4 (KitKat), with Huawei’s Emotion UI over the top.
So this really is not meant to be a major device or one which touts the highest of specs. However, it also does not tout the highest of prices either. The Huawei SnapTo comes in at a very reasonable $179.99 and is available via Amazon.
However, for those who might have been thinking about picking one up, then you should know that know really is the time to grab one. Amazon currently has the SnapTo as part of their Lightning Deals and as such, the device is available with a further $40 off the normal retail price. This means you can pick up the device for as low as $139.99. However, you do need to know that this is a lightning deal and as such is due to expire in approximately one and a half hours (as of the time of writing). Therefore, you have until 4pm EST (1pm PST) to grab one if you are interested. Click the link below to grab the Huawei SnapTo for $139.99, but be quick.
