Verizon Shipping Galaxy S6 Pre-Orders Now

If you've pre-ordered a Samsung Galaxy S6 from Verizon, well you should be seeing a shipping notice appear in your inbox real soon. The carrier has begun shipping out pre-orders for Samsung's newest flagship. Both the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are launching this Friday, April 10th. So those that pre-ordered their Galaxy S6 from Verizon should be getting it just in time for the launch, if not a day early. While the others have already started shipping theirs.

We don't have any confirmation just yet on if the Galaxy S6 Edge models are being shipped as well, but we're pretty confident they are. Both models are in store if you want to have a look at them before you decide to upgrade. As well as being available in store at Best Buy. We got hands on with both the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge back at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and were quite impressed with what Samsung has put out to start the year this year.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 features a 5.1-inch 2560x1440 resolution AMOLED display. Which is a very elegant display, and looks amazing. There's also Samsung's own Exynos 7420 processor inside. Which is an Octa-core processor that's 64-bit. Additionally we have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Samsung also has 64GB and 128GB of storage available as well. Seeing as there is no microSD card slot this time around, it's not surprising to see all three models available. There's also no removable battery, and we have a 2600mAh battery inside this time around. Verizon is selling the Galaxy S6 in black, white and gold. The blue and green colors didn't make the trip over to the US, unfortunately.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge will be available on Friday April 10th, from all four carriers here in the US. That includes AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint. All four will be offering it in black, white and gold, as well as in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB models. So plenty to choose from. The contract prices start at $199, with their payment plans starting as low as $0 down.
