It's here. It's Galaxy S6 day. A little over a month ago, Samsung announced the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge in Barcelona at their Unpacked event. They informed us that the devices would be available globally on April 10th. We weren't too sure about the US, due to the carriers. But Samsung was able to get all four US carriers to launch their newest devices at the same time as the rest of the world. You can walk into AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint or Verizon and pick up the Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge right now!
But what about Amazon? They also have both devices for AT&T, Sprint and Verizon. If you have Amazon Prime you can get it on Monday with free shipping. However, it is to late to get it for Saturday delivery, unfortunately. Amazon is also offering $35 in Amazon App Store money when you purchase the Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge. That includes their "App Starter Pack". Sounds like a pretty sweet deal right?
The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge both feature a 5.1-inch 2560x1440 resolution Display. Along with Samsung's own Exynos 7420 octa-core 64-bit processor, 3GB of RAM and starts with 32GB of storage. There are also 64GB and 128GB versions. But there is no microSD card slot this time around. Nor a removable battery. The Galaxy S6 features a 2550mAh battery and the Galaxy S6 Edge gets a slightly larger one at 2600mAh. Both devices have amazing looking displays, although the Galaxy S6 Edge's looks nicer, likely due to it being curved. Samsung also has thrown a nice 16MP camera on the back of both devices. Early reviews show that the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge both take amazing pictures, so if that was a need for your next smartphone, that box is ticked with both of these.
You can find the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge at the links down below, for their specific carriers. Contracts are starting at $199, and Amazon does do AT&T Next, if you're looking to use that this time around.
