Flyme Update For Meizu MX4 Is Now Available For Download


Meizu MX4 is one of the most powerful devices this China-based company has released to date. This handset was announced back in September last year as the Meizu's new flagship, the only Meizu-branded device which beats it in terms of specs is the Meizu MX4 Pro. Anyhow, if you own an international version of Meizu MX4, you'll be happy to know that the company has launched a stable version of Flyme which is now available for download and install, read on.

Flyme brings a slew of fixes throughout the system along with a new language, Turkish. Meizu has brought fixes to system, phone, cloud service, lock screen, gallery, music, browser, painter, clock and calculator apps. Meizu has fixed the disappearing bottom bar after disabling the "Intelligently hide Smartbar" option in the system. Some synchronization tasks were also fixed and the Browser memory leak bug was also optimized. The update itself is 706MB large, so make sure you're hooked up to a wi-fi before you download or at least have in mind that it will affect your mobile data.


The Meizu MX4 features a 5.36-inch 1080p (1920 x 1152) display along with 2GB of RAM and 16, 32 or 64GB of in-built storage. MediaTek's MT6595 octa-core processor is powering on this device along with PowerVR Series 6 GPU for graphics. On the back of this handset you'll find a 20.7-megapixel camera which is flanked by a dual LED, dual tone flash. A 5-megapixel snapper is located on the front side of the device, and it will certainly come in handy if you like to take a selfie here and there or you just want to make a video call or something. The MX4 comes with Android 4.4.4 KitKat pre-installed with Meizu's Flyme OS on top of it. The device measures 144 x 75.2 x 8.9mm and weighs 147 grams.
