Earlier this morning LG officially unveiled the LG G4 at their live event in New York, showcasing the best parts about their new device from new features and design to the all new UX 4.0 to enhance the user experience. Among the many things that LG has added into this new device, the all new 5.5-inch Quad HD Quantum IPS display was one of the focal points of the event, as LG says it boasts many improvements over last year's device and affords the user a screen with 20% more color range and 25% higher brightness than the screen on the LG G3.
LG will be launching the device in a number of regions in the near future, and one of those regions will be the UK. As for when the device will be available, according to LG the G4 will launch in the UK on May 28th, 2015, which is exactly one month out from now. LG doesn't explicitly state which carriers in the UK will be selling the device, naturally, as that task will be left to the carriers themselves to announce their individual dates for carrying the new flagship smartphone. LG did mention however that it would be available "from" May 28th in the UK which could suggest that not all carriers in the country will begin selling it on that day.
Users in the UK who will be interested in grabbing the new smartphone on the above-specified date will want to keep tabs on their subscribers for when exactly and where they'll be able to purchase. As the LG G4 will be available from May 28th in the UK, it's quite possible that other regions will begin selling the device through their respective carriers on the same date. This might be especially helpful for U.S. consumers who have yet to receive official launch dates and are wanting to pick up the phone, although most of the major carriers including Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and T-Mobile have all confirmed they'll be selling the device at some point in the near future. Unfortunately, no specific prices have been given for any of the launch regions for LG's new flagship smartphone, and this includes the UK pricing.
