LG Publishes Drone Video from the LG G4 Event

To start the LG G4 launch event yesterday, LG played a video that was recorded from a Drone in Sydney, Australia. And the footage was actually captured on a LG G4. Showing us just how much their camera has improved over the past year. Not to mention the f 1.8 lens is definitely helping things out for them, especially at night. The video also shows off a number of features of the LG G4, including the Color Spectrum Sensor, which LG said was the first of its kind. And really helps to give you the most accurate colors in your shots. It also shows off OIS 2.0, and even the IPS Quantum Display, which is also supposedly giving you some of the best colors on a display. And so far in the less than 24 hours that we’ve had the device, we can agree.

Overall, it was a really well produced and shot video. Now obviously when it comes to cameras your results may vary. However, with both an auto and manual mode, I think everyone will be more than satisfied with this camera. It is a pretty lengthy promo video, but it does show quite a bit of the features of the LG G4. Including the removable battery and microSD card slot. But let’s not forget, LG’s UX 4.0, which is also launching on the LG G4.

In the video, LG also shows off the slim Arc design and the genuine leather backing, which is removable. So you should be able to buy additional backs for the LG G4, and switch between all the colors and from plastic to leather as you want. Which, again, is a pretty cool feature to have on a device like this.

LG has placed the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 inside the LG G4, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. As mentioned above, it does have a microSD card slot. There’s also that removable 3,000mAh battery inside, and a 5.5-inch 2560×1440 resolution display, which we think will blow you away! We don’t have any concrete launch dates for the US, but it’s looking like Late May to Early June for the LG G4.
