Huawei has been really busy lately, the company has announced three new devices as part of their P8 flagship line this month, the Huawei P8, P8 Lite and P8Max. The company has also been teasing the Honor 4C handset lately and the device has even been listed on the company's official website in Russia for a while now. A couple of days ago, a new report came in saying that the company intends to launch three new devices on April 28th. Well, today is 28th and this China-based smartphone OEM did just that, announced three new products, let's see what's what.
The company has announced two new tablets and a smartphone today, let's tackle the Honor 4C announcement first. This handset features a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display along with 2GB of RAM and it is powered by Huawei's HiSilicon Kirin 620 64-bit octa-core processor. There's also a Snapdragon 615-powered version for China Telecom, Chinese carrier. The 13-megapixel camera is located on the back of this handset, while there's a 5-megapixel shooter available up front. The 2,500mAh battery is also a part of this package and Huawei Honor 4C also offers 4G LTE support. Android 5.0 Lollipop comes pre-installed on this device with Huawei's Emotion UI (EMUI) 3.0 installed on top of it. This handset offers 8GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD card.
The second device this company has announced is a 7-inch tablet, the Honor Pad. This tablet features a 7-inch 1024 x 600 display on the front and is powered by Spreadtrum's SC7731G quad-core SoC clocked at 1.2GHz. This tablet will ship with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The Honor Pad is only 8.5mm thick and it will ship with a 4,100mAh battery on the inside, while it will also offer 3G connectivity (Micro SIM card). The Huawei Play Pad Note is the last device this Chinese OEM showcased today, this is a 9.6-inch tablet. The 9.6-inch screen features 1280 x 800 resolution and it is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 410 64-bit quad-core processor. This tablet will also ship with 1GB of RAM on the inside along with a 4,800mAh battery. The 5-megapixel camera is located on the back of the Play Pad Note, and the tablet is only 8.3mm thick. Android 4.4 KitKat is pre-installed on both of these tablets.
The Huawei Honor 4C is priced at 799 Yuan ($129), while the Honor Pad and Honor Play Pad Note cost 599 ($97) and 999 Yuan ($161), respectively. All of these devices will be available for sale soon, and the company did not reveal any info regarding the availability of either of these devices outside of China.
