Hotel Tonight Updates Android App With Material Design And Easier Booking Process

When it comes to booking your next stay no matter where you'll be, Hotel Tonight has been one of the better apps on Android to complete the process of searching for the perfect place, the best rates for what you're looking for and booking your stay for the time you'll be gone. If you're already a Hotel Tonight user, then you may have already noticed the update coming to your device. If you've never heard of Hotel Tonight or you hadn't yet noticed the changes, the app has very recently been updated and has received a huge visual overhaul which includes a refresh with material design and new functionality, as well as improved usability for existing features.

Along with the material design refresh, the app as a whole has a flatter, sleeker look to it, and users will probably appreciate the use of more vibrant color and lively animations throughout the application, but the looks aren't all that's worth mentioning here. Hotel Tonight is now easier to use to book your stay, and accessing your account information is even easier than before too. You may notice that the date picker has been changed up a bit, and Hotel Tonight mentions that they have added tabs to the app as well as reworked the map access. Overall things should look and feel a whole lot cleaner than before.

The star of the show should really be the new rate tracker feature, which isn't technically new as it was introduced in the latest iOS version update prior to Android. This is a new feature for Android however, and users will probably love the ability to get alerts and notifications about hotel pricing changes, or new hotels that may be of their interest. The push notifications are a feature that users can opt into of course, as they're not mandatory but they can be useful if enabled. Using  the rate tracking feature is pretty simple, as it's automatically going to give users the option to track rates whenever they search for hotels in a specific location. When a search is started, the "track it" button will appear which turns on the daily push notifications. If any prices change during the times that you're looking to book a room, or if any other hotels in the area have rooms open up, the push notifications from Hotel Tonight will let you know. The update should already be live for Android users, and you can find the app in the Play Store if you're new to it.
