Featured Review: Incipio Ghost 220 Qi Wireless Charging Pad

Now that Samsung has decided to add wireless charging into their devices without needing to get another back plate. Qi wireless chargers are beginning to get really popular. We even saw Ikea announce some new furniture with wireless charging - that I personally can't wait to get! Incipio sent over a slew of Qi wireless chargers for us to check out, today we are reviewing their Ghost 220 Qi Wireless Charging Pad.

The big features of the Ghost 220 is the fact that it can charge two devices using Qi at the same time, and that it has a USB port on the back. So if you need to charge a device that doesn't have Qi Wireless charging, you can still do so. The USB charging port is a 2.4A charging port, so it does support Quick Charge. Both Qualcomm and Samsung's standards.

With the Ghost 220, you can charge both the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge at the same time. Which is probably not a big deal to most people, but the fact that it is possible is pretty awesome. Qi wireless charging is still quite slow, but it is an awesome feature. Just think about it. You've just gotten home from work, and you're going out later on. Just set your phone down on the charging pad and it starts charging. No more needing to plug your phone in. It's pretty awesome, actually.

Qi Wireless charging is supported by a slew of devices. That includes the Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Motorola Nexus 6, Sony Xperia Z3v, Google Nexus 5, Google Nexus 4, and a slew of other devices. Many of Samsung's devices from 2013 and later do support it as well, if you buy the Qi Wireless charging back cover. Incipio has about four different Qi Wireless chargers available, the Ghost 110, 120, 210, and 220. The 110 and 120 are single device chargers, while the 120 does have a USB port in the back. The 210 and 220 are dual device chargers and the 220 has a USB port in the back for Quick Charging. You can find them all on Incipio's website.
