There are a number of high spec devices available at the moment which you can pick up if you are so inclined. For instance, the twin S6 devices, the Galaxy s6 and Galaxy S6 Edge should need little introduction as they have been two of the highest coveted phones of recent times. Likewise, there is also the next-gen One smartphone by HTC, the One M9. Well, a number of smartphone fans will be waiting on another device which has not exactly received the same level of coverage or hype but does come touting some pretty impressive specs. This is the Saygus V2. Otherwise, known as the Saygus V Squared.
However, you refer to the phone, what it promises is a great spec device. The Saygus V2 comes equipped with a 5-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and protected by Gorilla Glass 4. Inside, the Saygus V2 is loaded with 3GB RAM and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor (clocking at 2.5GHz), along with an Adreno 330 graphics processor. One of the biggest selling points for the Saygus V2 will certainly be the storage as the device is equipped with 64GB of internal storage. Not to mention, the device also comes with two MicroSD card slots. With each one offering up to 128GB, the total possible storage onboard nears the 320GB marker. If you are more interested in your cameras, then this will not disappoint either with a 21-megapixel offering on the rear coupled with an equally sufficient 13-megapixel camera on the front. While everything is powered by a 3,100 mAh removable battery as well as being IPX7 certified for water resistance, a bunch of sensors including GPS, Gyroscope, Accelerometer, Compass, Proximity and Ambient Light. Not to mention there is also a fingerprint scanner and Qi wireless charging thrown in too.
Well those who have been waiting on the Saygus V2, have really been waiting, as the device opened for pre-orders back in February with the latest expected shipping time to be April. However, by the middle of March, the company announced that the V2 was going to be delayed until May 22nd. Well, it has been a month since that announcement and the company are now confirming that the Saygus V2 will indeed begin shipping on May 22nd. The confirmation came via their twitter account (source link below) a couple of days ago. Barring any further complications, those who opted for the Saygus V2 over everything else currently available can rest assured that it does look to be on track.
