Although the Apple Watch seems to be grabbing all of the headlines in recent weeks, due to the device launch and seemingly high initial sales, the android equivalents have been long coming. Smartwatches from android manufacturers have been coming on a routine basis throughout the best part of the last year. A couple of manufacturers who were quick out of the door with their offerings was Samsung and LG. Both released early models and since then, both have released follow-up devices. However, it has been Samsung's and LG's most recently announced offerings that are attracting a number of the headlines. In Samsung's case, this is the round Samsung Gear A, aka 'Orbis". While, in LG's case, it is the LG Watch Urbane.
This offering from LG is far more watch like then a number of the options already on offer. In fact, the Urbane looks to be one of the classier options which is expected to land this year. Since its unveiling though, the details on availability have been a little limited. The device has now gone on sale in South Korea and is due to be released in a number of other countries including the UK and the US. Not to mention, it was only recently reported that the Watch Urbane is expected to land on Google's new store later this month.
Well, if you are in the UK and have been waiting for the latest classy offering from LG, it now looks like you can pick it up as UK retailer, Clove, is already offering the device online. It is currently listed as "in stock" and priced at £260. If you need a quick reminder on what is on offer, then the Watch Urbane comes with a 1.3-inch P-OLED display with a 320 x 320 resolution (245 ppi).
