Bluboo X550 Is A New Smartphone Which Comes Packing A 5,300mAh Battery

When it comes to smartphones, one of the most commonly experience problems by users is battery life. A devices become more advanced and capable, their ability to drain their battery also becomes more advanced. Of course, companies are working on various ways to improve battery life. These have recently been reported in researchers contemplating how batteries are made and looking to offer increased capacity batteries by removing the anodes inside. Likewise, software developers have been looking at ways to improve the daily life of a device by implementing various battery saving modes. Not to mention there are a number of apps too which will look to turn off WiFi when not in use, deactivate services and other clever ways to try and make your battery last longer.

Of course, there is always the simpler option. Stick a bigger battery in the device. Well, this is exactly what a new smartphone from Bluboo is hoping to achieve. The Blueboo X550 comes with a whopping big battery, a 5,300mAh battery to be exact. Although the device is new, the company is not with Bluboo launching devices in the past including the Bluboo X6 which was announced back in October of last year.

In terms of the latest offering, very few details have been announced so far. Besides, the fact the device will come with a 5,300mAh battery, the only other information being reported is the device will come with a quad-core MediaTech (MT6735) 64-bit processor. As well as 4G support and running on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). The rest of the specs largely remain a mystery, as does the price of the device and what regions the device will be available in. However, it does seem that a couple of press images of the device have been released today providing a glimpse of what the device will look like. The images appeared on the Bluboo forums and seemed to have come by way of an official posting. In terms of the device, it is rumored the company will be holding an event to launch the Bluboo X550 towards the end of the month. By then, there will be more details made available and we will know if the rest of the specs are as big as the battery.
