Bluboo X550 Packs A 5,300mAh Battery And Is Now Available For Pre-Order Worldwide

Bluboo is yet another Chinese smartphone manufacturer trying to make it in the extremely competitive Chinese smartphone market. We've talked about this company several times thus far, they've announced an extremely affordable C100 handset earlier this month. We're not here to talk about that device though, but the X550 smartphone that we've mentioned at the beginning of this month. The company has unveiled this mid-ranger on April 3rd, and the device is now available for sale, read on.

So, what's most interesting about this device? Well, it actually ships with a huge 5,300mAh battery. Bluboo wanted to differentiate this handset somehow, and they definitely managed to get some people's attention by including such a huge battery on the inside of this thing. Other than that, Bluboo X550 is a mid-range device. This handset features a 5.5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) IPS display along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The Bluboo X500 is powered by MediaTek's MT6735 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and it offers dual-SIM connectivity. On the back of this device you'll find an 8-megapixel snapper which is flanked by an LED flash. The 2-megapixel camera is located on the front side of this device for your selfies and video calls. This handset does support 4G LTE connectivity, but it only works with FDD-LTE networks, so keep that in mind. You'll need to make sure this device is compatible with your carrier's LTE before you purchase it. As far as the design goes, this handset is made out of plastic and it does sport some rather thin bezels as you can see in the gallery down below. There are also three capacitive buttons below the display: back, home and overview button, respectively.

The Bluboo X550 actually comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop with some of Bluboo's additions on top of Google's operating system. This device is actually available for pre-order worldwide through GearBest. In case you're interested and would like to get one it will cost you $188. This handset is available in Black and White color options and if you're interested follow the source link down below which will take you directly to the GearBest's listing of this device.
