Android Auto was one of the latest android platforms that was introduced by Google at last year's I/O event. Although, the rolling out of the tech has been somewhat slow going since then, it is happening. Recently, Pioneer released a bunch of in-dash units which offer Android Auto functionality. In short, bringing android to your car with the music, media, connectivity and features you love. That said, the cost of the devices are not exactly pocket-friendly. The Pioneer options range from $700 up to $1400. One of those units, the Pioneer AVIC-8100NEX is up at the top end of that price scale with a recommended retail $1400 tag. This unit is the 7-inch version and will add an android flavour to your car with the backing of Pioneer's tech underneath. If you have been thinking about picking up one but have been put off by the prices, then now might be the time to buy. At the moment, you can pick the Pioneer AVIC-8100NEX up considerably cheaper, as Amazon currently have the device priced at just over $890. Hit the link below to grab yours.
