Zeptolabs is best known for their popular puzzle game cut the rope, but more recently they’re in the spotlight for an upcoming new game called King of Thieves. Today Zeptolabs announces that King of Thieves is available for all to download on Google Play. The game should be supported on most Android devices, and it even has Android TV support so you can play with a controller and on the big screen if you so choose. The goal in King of Thieves is simple, steal copious amounts of gold from other players after you make it through their custom made dungeon defense.
The game isn’t just about stealing though, you have to protect your own gold too. You’ll be able to design your own dungeon defense to keep out other thieves, while you plot ways to take every last piece of gold they have to their name. Zeptolabs has weaved in some interesting multiplayer aspects here, as not only are you able to steal from other player’s dungeons, but there are leaderboards as well so you can see if you’re the world’s richest thief. If you’re not interested in jumping right into the multiplayer gameplay, there is also a single player mode with 80 levels to show you the ropes.
In addition to the 80 single player levels created by Zeptolabs, there’s also user generated content, which will continue to grow over time as more and more players pick up the game. You can also create and join guilds, and you can craft and create your own outfits. King of Thieves is another free to play title just like Cut The Rope 2, allowing gamers to pick it up and try things without having to spend any money. While this is available on Google Play as of now, Zeptolabs has also published it to the Amazon App Store so players on the kindle fire tablets and fire phones can enjoy the experience also. King of Thieves features the same loveable art style as the Cut The Rope series, so if you enjoyed any of Zeptolabs previous titles this one is worth giving a shot.
