You've probably already heard of Ulefone by now. This Chinese smartphone manufacturer has been around for some time now, and we've already reviewed one of their devices, the Ulefone Be One. That is one solid mid-ranger, and this company has some more powerful devices in their lineup, like the Ulefone Be Pro for example. This is still a mid-ranger handset, but it offers serious specifications. That being said, Ulefone has been teasing their upcoming Be Pro mini handset recently. The company did not reveal many details about it though, except for the fact that it will sport a 5-inch panel.
Well, this China-based smartphone OEM has released some information about the device, including the device's specs and its looks apparently. It seems like the device will be called Ulefone Be Pure, and not the Be Pro Mini after all. Anyhow, this device will sport a 5-inch IPS display along with 1GB of RAM. This handset will be powered by MediaTek's MT6592 processor, 13-megaipxel camera will be located on the back of the device, and a 5-megapixel snapper will be available up front. This handset might not ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop, but will definitely get the update later in the year. The company has even announced that the device will cost $149.99 once announced. You can also check out the benchmarks of said device in the gallery down below. We still don't know why did Ulefone change the name of this handset, but there you have it. This seems to be the stripped down version of the Ulefone Be Pro.
This is not the only Ulefone announcement we have to share with you today. The company revealed via their official Facebook page that they'll participate at the Asia World-Expo in Hong Kong. That's not all though, the company will announce something during the show. Asia World-Expo will start on April 18th and will run for a couple of days, until April 21st. It is still unknown whether they intend to release the Ulefone Be Pure there, or perhaps they have other plans in place. We'll let you know if we managed to dig out any additional information regarding this, the Asia World-Expo is almost a month away, so there's plenty of time for additional leaks and what not.
