T-Mobile Opens Pre-Orders for the 64GB Gold Variant of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge

This morning, T-Mobile announced that in addition to the 32GB colors and the black and white 64GB variants of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, they are now taking pre-orders for the Gold 64GB variant of both flagships. So if you were eyeing that Gold 64GB Galaxy S6 or the Gold 64GB Galaxy S6 Edge, well now you can pre-order it, and it'll be at your doorstep on April 10th. The pricing for the 64GB model will be the same as the other colors, no premium on the gold variant here. So the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge will be $859.53 full price, or $99 down and $31.66/month for 24 months. While the regular Galaxy S6 will be going for $759.99 at full retail and $99 down with $27.50 per month if you're looking to have it financed.

"Samsung's built insane power into two beautiful bodies − you have to hold these phones in your hands and experience them for yourself," said John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile. "And now that we've knocked down every barrier the other guys use to lock you in, there's no reason to wait to come over to the Un-carrier to grab Samsung's Next Big Things."

The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are some of the nicest looking smartphones that Samsung has made in quite some time. Not to mention, Samsung actually listened to their customers and improved Touchwiz a bit, so we're not getting an even more bloated OS here from Samsung. While it is a bit disappointing to see that the green and blue colors shown off in Barcelona, won't be making its way over to the US. The Gold is still a really nicely done color on the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. Samsung has packed inside a 5.1-inch 2560x1440 resolution display, Exynos 7420 octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM and either 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of storage inside. However, there is no microSD card slot nor a removable battery this time around. However, Samsung did keep their 16MP camera and it does take some pretty amazing shots. You can pre-order yours now from all four carriers and even Best Buy and Amazon!
