Following Samsung announcing that pre-orders for their two new flagships – the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge – would begin tomorrow, March 27th. T-Mobile has now followed up and announced that they will be taking pre-orders tomorrow. They also unveiled pricing of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. As far as pricing goes, T-Mobile is offering the 32GB Galaxy S6 for $0 down and $28.33 per month for 24 months. That gives a full retail price of $679.92. The 32GB Galaxy S6 Edge is going to be available for $0 down and $32.49 per month for 24 months. That works out to about $779.76 full retail price. T-Mobile is also stating that they will have the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge available in store, for customers to walk in and check them out. And see if they want to throw down the cash for Samsung's new "superphones".
"Samsung's built insane power into two beautiful bodies âˆ' you have to hold these phones in your hands and experience them for yourself," said John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile. "And now that we've knocked down every barrier the other guys use to lock you in, there's no reason to wait to come over to the Un-carrier to grab Samsung's Next Big Things."
T-Mobile has postpaid plans starting at $45 for the new Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Additionally, if you are on another carrier and looking to switch, T-Mobile will pay off your current phone – if you are on Verizon EDGE, AT&T Next or Sprint EasyPay – as well as pay off your early termination fees. That's up to $650 that T-Mobile will reimburse you to switch to their carrier. On top of that, T-Mobile also has the Uncontract. Which means that they will not raise your prices on your plan. So if you get the $50 plan with 1GB of data, it will stay that price forever. However, it may go down, but Legere has promised it will not go up. Which is something that every carrier is guilty of, raising prices for one reason or another.
The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge will be available on April 10th from T-Mobile. Along side the HTC One M9.
