Last week, OnePlus announced that they were extending the availability to purchase the OnePlus One to sixteen more countries. For those who have yet to try and buy a One and not sure of the process, then as well as needing an invite to buy, you do also need to live in a country which OnePlus will/can deliver to. Therefore, even if you do manage to snag an invite but are not based in a supported country there is still no way for you to get the device. At first, OnePlus launched in an initial seventeen countries, which was quickly followed by a launch in India and then in Indonesia.
The latest news will see the OnePlus One made available in a number of additional European countries. These include Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus and Czech Republic. As well as Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania and Luxembourg. Lastly, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia will also be able to now pick up the One. Although this news was covered last week, today OnePlus sent out a further blog on the topic, officially announcing the start of the availability. As a result, you can now (from today) pick up the One from the already mentioned countries. Of course, you do still need an invite to buy. However, it is worth remembering that every Tuesday, OnePlus open up the ability to purchase the One without an invite. So from tomorrow, these newly added countries will be able to participate in the Tuesdays no-invite-needed sales.
In terms of pricing, the OnePlus blog (source link below) notes the 16GB Silk White will come in at €269 which equates to roughly $290, which is a little bit cheaper that what the device costs elsewhere. Likewise, the 64GB Sandstone Black version will cost €299 which equates to roughly $325 and again comes in a little under the more typical $350 price tag noted elsewhere. If you are based in Czech Republic, Hungary or Poland then the price is set at CZK 8089, HUF 94199, PLN 1299 respectively for the 16GB version. While the 64GB version will set you back CZK 8989, HUF 104999, PLN 1449. Let us know if you plan to pick one up and click the source link below to read the OnePlus announcement in full.
