ZTE Nubia Z7 is the company's current flagship. This device was launched back in July last year, and according to various reports, the Nubia Z9 will be its successor. We've been seeing a lot of leaks and rumors regarding this handset, for months now actually. Many of those rumors were saying that the device either won't have any bezel on the side, or the bezels will be almost unnoticeable. This Chinese company has already set a date when the Nubia Z9 will be launched, and has teased the launch of the device. ZTE will launch their new flagship on March 26th, and Nubia Z9 Mini and Nubia Z9 Max might launch alongside the Nubia Z9, similar to what the company did last year.
This China-based company has already showcased the Nubia Z9 Max during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona to a select number of people, but didn't officially unveil the device. ZTE did, however, confirmed that the Z9 Max will sport a 5.5-inch display and that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 processor. They also said that Android 5.0 Lollipop will ship on that device. The Nubia Z9 will quite probably sport that very same SoC and will also ship with Android 5.0 pre-installed, with ZTE's skin on top of Google's OS, of course. 3GB of RAM and a premium build are also expected here.
That being said, three new images leaked, allegedly showing off the Nubia Z9. The device shown in this images actually significantly differs from what we've seen thus far. You can check out these images in the gallery down below. The first image shows the device's front side, and as you can see, the bezels on the sides are extremely thin, and the bezel on the top is a lot thinner than it was on previous leaks. The second image lets you see the device from the back, where the loudspeaker is located along with a fingerprint scanner and an LED flash. The third image actually compares this handset with the iPhone 6, and it seems like the Nubia Z9 will be a somewhat taller device, which was to be expected.
There you have it, the company will announce their new ZTE Nubia Z9 device(s) on March 26th. We'll let you know as soon as we get some additional information, stay tuned.
