In recent times, manufacturers have certainly stepped up their game when it comes to promoting their products. Now, the obligatory massive all glitzy product unveil and announcement is a must. However, in further promoting their latest offerings, manufacturers have found a very effective medium in the form of their own videos and shorts. This is obviously not a brand new media trick as Samsung has been doing this for years and most famously, with their iPhone queuing and wall-hugging videos. However, in more recent times, more and more manufacturers seem to be turning to funny, or interesting, or simply strange videos to promote their products.
One of those manufacturers who have taken to video promotions quite well, is HTC and especially when it comes to their latest flagship device, the HTC One M9. For the release of this device, the Taiwanese company has released a whole load of videos. In fact, it was only yesterday ten more videos popped up promoting the One M9. Not to mention, they also came with Robert Downey Jr, to add a bit of glamor to them. Well, the latest videos now doing the rounds come from Lenovo and are a little bit different, to say the least.
The Lenovos video offerings consist of two videos with each one running about a minute and a half. The two videos are a direct 'part one' and 'part two' and are looking to promote their latest smartphone, the Lenovo P90 which debuted back at CES in January. However, the videos are not starring Robert Downey Jr and do not focus too much on the actual device or what it can do. Instead, the videos tell the story of a rise of a bear. To be more accurate, 'Berwynn the Lenovo P90 Bear'. This is not the first time Berwynn has done the rounds either. He was spotted a couple of months ago in a CES promo, again promoting the P90. However, his latest two-parter tells the story of how he was a sad bear until the P90 came along and changed his life. Literally. You can check out the videos below for yourself and see Berwynn's ongoing P90 story.
