Beidou To Release A High-End Little Pepper Note Handset; Snapdragon 808 And 4GB Of RAM On Board

We've talked about the upcoming Beidou Little Pepper 7 handset quite recently. This will be a selfie focused handset which will allegedly feature a 20-megapixel snapper on the front. If you'd like to read more about that, visit this link, we'll let you know as soon as we get more details about it. Speaking of which, another Beidou-branded handset is rumored to arrive in April, and unlike other Beidou-branded handsets, this will allegedly be a high-end device. Let's see what's what, shall we.

The "Note" branding is very, very popular lately. You all know that Samsung has a lot of Note-branded phablets and tablets, and other manufacturers have picked up on the name as well. Xiaomi has unveiled the Mi Note and Mi Note Pro handsets earlier this year, and Redmi Note last year. Lenovo is rumored to unveil a Note-branded devices soon, and now Beidou as well. According to the report, the Beidou Little Pepper Note will feature a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 808 processor, 4GB of RAM for all your multitasking needs and a fingerprint scanner. If this report is legit, we're talking about a high-end handset here, obviously. We haven't really seen the Snapdragon 808 used that often, but it looks like Beidou's new offering will be powered by it. As a side note, Beidou is also expected to release the Little Pepper X3 affordable offering alongside the Little Pepper 7.

We don't have any additional information about the device, unfortunately. The report didn't let us in on the details, aside from the processor, RAM and the possible release timeframe of course. Beidou is usually manufacturing solid budget devices which cost under 2,000 Yuan ($322), but it seems the company is finally ready to step up their game and release a flagship model. It will certainly be interesting to see how will this device look like in the end and how much will it cost, we're hoping that Beidou can keep the price quite affordable as far as this unit goes. We'll let you know as soon as we get any additional regarding this handset, stay tuned.
