Powerskin Launches New Customizable Line Of Battery Packs And Cases Called Ink'd

If you have a creative side, customizing things can be a big part of your life. Powerskin, who makes portable battery cases and battery packs for smartphones wants to cater to that inner creativity you have and get you to unleash it. With a new line of battery cases and battery packs customization options they're launching called Ink'd, you'll be able to charge your device with a personally customized battery pack or battery case. The cases and packs can be customized with a preselected group of designs, patterns, flags, or landscapes that you can browse through, or if you don't find any designs you like on the site Powerskin lets you create your own design by selecting a background color, and then they give you the option to upload and add an image and add text. Powerskin will also be adding more designs to their custom templates on a daily basis as well.

Customization is good and all, but what does the battery pack actually offer in terms of specifications? for starters it has a uniquely awesome design. The pack itself has a series of suction cups on one side that can be attached to your smartphone so you can plug it in to the pack, almost like a case,(see image above or below)and you can charge your device while using it. This makes it extremely portable while in use, and when you're done you can simply stow it away for later.

As far as battery capacity goes, it offers an additional 2,000mAh of battery power for you to get some extra power when needed, although it won't offer a full charge on some phones that have bigger batteries. The cost of the battery pack itself is $49.99, and is called the Pop'n battery pack, and if you want it Ink'd it'll cost you an additional $19.99 to do so, bringing you to a total of $69.99. As we stated Powerskin also offers a battery case that can be Ink'd, but they only have three total case offerings including the iPhone 5/5s, the Galaxy S4, and the Galaxy S5. Sadly though the Ink'd option is only available for the iPhone case so if you use an Android device you're unfortunately limited to the Pop'n pack. You can buy the Pop'n and customize it straight from Powerskin on their site,(link in the source)or you can find the standard colors available via Amazon for just the $49.99.
