Meizu MX5 Concept Design Surfaces With Rounded Corners And No Bezel On The Sides

Meizu did a great job last year. This China-based company released a couple of really compelling devices and managed to get under the spotlight, not only in China, but outside of Asia as well. Meizu released the MX4, MX4 Pro and M1 Note handsets last year. The first two devices were regarded to as flagship offerings by Meizu, while the M1 Note is the extremely affordable mid-range device released by the company. Meizu MX4 was released back in September, and we probably won’t see its successor until Q4 2015, but we’ll definitely see lots of rumors and leaks before the device gets released, that’s for sure.

We all like to see a nice concept from time to time, we’ve seen lots of HTC One (M9) and Samsung Galaxy S6 concepts lately, and this time around we have a Meizu MX5 concept to share with you. Keep in mind that this is not a device leak or anything of the sort, this is just a concept render which surfaced online accompanied by some specification predictions / wishes. You can check out the render itself above this article, and it looks rather sleek, as most renders do. This concept device has no bezels on the sides, and it has a power button on the back, or at least it seems like it. Its corners are rounded, and as previously mentioned, this render is accompanied by some specs.

Samsung’s Exynos 7 octa-core processor power on this imaginary concept phone along with 4GB of RAM. 64 or 128GB of internal storage  is also mentioned, and a 22-megapixel camera is located on the back of this concept device (Sony Exmor RS IMX230 sensor). 5-megapixel snapper is available up front, and a 4,000mAh battery located inside the phone’s shell. This concept device also features stereo speakers and offers dual SIM as well. The handset is 6.4mm thick (6.9mm if you take its camera into account).
