This weekend is a massive weekend for android users, as all the rumors and speculation surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9 will finally come to an end, when the two devices are unveiled at MWC in Barcelona. However, until the big show starts you might need something to occupy your time during the gap. If that is the case then you might want to know that the third season of Netflix's House of Cards has just gone live and ready to watch. If you managed to get caught up in Frank Underwood's antics from the first two seasons and are one of those eager to finally see what is unveiled in the latest season, then now is your chance. HoC is available and thanks to Netflix can be watched on a whole host of android devices.
If you are a Netflix subscriber, then by now, you should have downloaded the app to use on your android smartphone or tablet. If you have yet to download it, then it is available via the Play Store. Not to mention, if you have Google's little Chromecast device, you can stream the shows with no problem from your mobile or tablet app. If you are one of those who recently picked up the Nexus Player, when Google unveiled it back at last year's I/O event, then you should have the app already installed and ready to go. If, however, you plan to watch the show via your newly purchased Chromebook then you can by either two methods. As you would expect, head straight over to the Netflix website and stream from there. The benefit of this method is that if you are using the Chrome Browser, you can also cast the open browser tab directly to any Google Cast compatible TV device. Alternatively, using the Chromebook you could install the Chromebook Netflix extension from the Chrome Store. Technically, this is also from your browser although without the need to have to input the URL. Simply hit the Netflix icon in your app launcher and hit play. Saves time for more episode cramming. Of course, you can always go the old-fashioned route and hit the source link below, which will take you over to the Netflix website.
So there you go. However you plan to watch House of Cards, it does seem android has you covered. Although, do make sure to leave some time free on Sunday, to hear what Samsung and HTC are unveiling. Until then though, you have plenty of House of Cards to keep you going and make sure to let us know how you plan to watch the show?
