The HTC One M9 is scheduled to be announced on the 1st of March and the media is buzzing with anticipation right now. It is not surprising at the same time since we have MWC lined up for us at Barcelona where many other manufacturers are expected to unveil their flagship handsets for 2015. People expect big things from HTC with their One M9 and Samsung with their Galaxy S6. LlabTooFeR, a known leaker, has had a busy week leaking wallpapers of the HTC One M9.
LlabTooFeR promised that he would line up a bunch of leaks, every 24 hours. till the countdown zeroes down to the launch of the HTC One M9. The twitter guy has consistently published what he claims to be wallpapers from the upcoming device. The HTC One M9 is rumored to be a pretty heavily spec'd device and while it is not expected to be jumping on the QHD resolution bandwagon just yet, it is rumored to be coming with a 5.2 inch 1080p display. There is also likely to be a Snapdragon 810 – a 64-bit OctaCore chip powering everything with 3 GB of RAM to make sure there is ample memory. The much controversial 4 MP UltraPixel camera is expected to be replaced with a Toshiba sensor of 20.7 MP. The Ultrapixel camera would be pushed to the front for better quality selfies. The HTC One M9 would be running the latest version of Sense – Sense 7 which will be based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. The direct link to the above wallpaper is here. The resolution of the wallpaper we are looking at remains to be 2160*1920 which is quite odd but pretty high resolution to be applied to any device you might own.
Another set of rumors about the One M9 includes a possible One M9 Plus version with QuadHD resolution. The One M9 is expected to bring the same great design with metal wrapping the entire body of the phone. HTC made sure to promote the fact that the M8 pushed the limits by being 90% metal, do you think they could achieve any further breakthroughs in build quality or materials? With the official announcement being only 2 days away, what are your expectations from the One M9? With the amount of leaks, it is not clear if HTC will really be blowing minds.
