Androidify Ad Spot Promotes New NBA Update That Now Includes Your Favorite NBA Jerseys

Android lovers have become quite fond of Google's Androidify application that lets you create your own little animated Andy's right from the palm of your hand on your mobile device, and why shouldn't they? It's a fun little app to play with and Google has added in a pretty extensive set of customization options. Google has been doing some more ads for the Android operating system as of late and the latest upcoming ad that hit YouTube recently is aiming to highlight the upcoming update to Androidify which is focusing on some NBA themed stuff. If you're a fan of Android and the NBA, this is an ad worth watching.

The YouTube video ad is called "Dunk-A-Thon" and it's actually pretty cool to watch. It's a short little ad spot with the main focus on the Androidify NBA update but it also throws in the more recent moniker that Google has been following to promote Android itself which is "be together, not the same." Seeing as how the NBA is big news and a lot of fans out there follow the sport, Google is being smart by promoting both the NBA and their OS in the same video. It reminds us of the Sprite NBA Slam Dunk Contests that are held annually every year where we see some of the sport's biggest stars attempt some of the craziest dunks on the court.

If you're already using the Androidify application then you should see the update in the Play Store which now includes NBA jerseys as part of the wardrobe you can slap on your little homemade Android character. Just watching the video also puts into perspective how many different customization combinations there are within the Androidify app as you can see all kinds of different looking Andy's of all shapes and sizes. Now you can also rep your favorite NBA team with their jersey. If you're not already using the app, the update should be live for you and you can grab it from the Play Store to have a little fun. What do you think of the latest Android ad spot? Think you could do a crazier dunk than the any of the Androids?
