Amazon Launch $140 Mega App Giveaway For Valentine's Day Including Runtastic, Shazam And Back To Bed

Every so often Amazon decides to launch an app giveaway. These giveaways are typically an enlarged version of their FAOTD (free app of the day) promotion, but instead of giving one app away they give a whole bunch. Not to mention that instead of only being for one day, they are typically for a couple of days. To add to that, these giveaways typically always come round at each holiday or occasion time. So back in December, we had a Christmas one and at the turn of January, we had a New Year one. Well, for those unaware, this weekend we have another occasion day coming up in the form of Valentine's Day. Which can only mean one thing, we have an Amazon Valentine's Day app giveaway on our hands.

Yep, the giveaway has just gone live now and will remain live until midnight on February 14th. So this is a dedicated app giveaway just for the love day. That said, very few of the apps on offer seem to be 'love' oriented. In total, there are 37 apps on offer which is far too many to list here, but here is a quick rundown of what to look out for. In terms of games, the offerings are a little thin however you can currently pick up 80 Days, Doodle Jump, Cut the Rope: Experiments. Sorcery! 2, Glow Hockey 2 Pro, Back To Bed, Ski Safari: Adventure, Monsters Ate My Condo and League of Heroes Premium.

If you are not that into your games and prefer straight up app offerings, then the choices on offer include Shazam Encore, Runtastic PRO GPS Running, Walking & Fitness Tracker, OfficeSuite Professional 8, MeteoEarth, Battery HD Pro, mSecure - Password Manager and Secure Digital Wallet, Travel Interpreter, Simple Camera and Smart RAM Booster Pro.

Some of these apps we have seen before in previous app giveaways while some are new ones that we have yet to see drop down to a zero price. Either way though, free is free and as such, is certainly worth a quick look. Click here to head over to the main giveaway page and see the full list for yourself. Alternatively, just open the Amazon AppStore on your device and click on the giveaway banner. Let us know which apps you go for.
