Alleged Xperia Z4 Tablet And Xperia M4 Aqua Leak Ahead Of MWC

Sony will definitely make a significant presence at this year's Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. We've been seeing several Sony-related leaks / rumors recently, one of them showed us the alleged Xperia Z4 tablet, and the other one the Xperia M4 Aqua handset. Both of these devices are expected to launch at this year's MWC in Barcelona next month, and Sony has even (indirectly) officially confirmed that the Xperia Z4 Tablet will be announced at MWC. Another leak surfaced online showing us new images of Sony-branded smartphone and tablet, let's check it out.

Let's tackle the tablet first, if you take a look at the first image in the gallery down below, you'll see a nice and clean image of a Sony-branded tablet running Android Lollipop. This thing actually looks quite similar to the Xperia Z2 Tablet, but it's definitely not that device, the headphone jack is in the wrong place here, which makes us believe this is the upcoming Xperia Z4 Tablet. The second image in the gallery down below gives you a nice look at a mysterious Xperia smartphone. This thing somewhat resembles the Xperia Z3, though this is clearly not Sony's current flagship. This is quite probably Sony' s rumored Xperia M4 Aqua smartphone.

According to previous info, the Xperia M4 Aqua will come with IP65/68 water and dust resistance as well as Android Lollipop pre-installed. We still don't know the specifications of this handset, but it will quite probably feature a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display along with 1GB or 2GB of RAM and a battery between 2,000 and 2,500mAh. The device is rumored to be available for sale in Q2 this year and will quite probably be powered by a mid-range Qualcomm processor, most probably the Snapdragon 410 or 615. 16GB of internal storage is also quite possible here.

It seems like Sony will have plenty of hardware to show us at MWC next week. Are you interested in either of these devices? Do you own an Xperia-branded smartphone or a tablet, if yes, which one? MWC is right around the corner, stay tuned.
