Samsung's One Year's Worth Of Netflix For Free Deal Is Official And Goes Live

You may remember a couple of days ago a rumor started circulating that Samsung were getting ready to launch a special promotion ahead of CES. Now, the promo did not have anything to deal with CES. However, with the impending expectation of the release of the Samsung Galaxy S6, it seemed Samsung might have been attempting to shift some of their stock of a few of their other flagship devices. Well, it was just a rumor at the time as we had no officially confirmed details. However, that has all changed now as the deal has now gone live on the Samsung website.

For those that missed the earlier post, Samsung have launched a special promotion with Netflix. In fact, it is not a bad promotion at all. If you purchase either a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Samsung Galaxy S5 or Samsung Galaxy Tab S then you can get a whole year's worth of Netflix completely for free. For anyone who has Netflix, they will know that this is easily a $100+ savings. It is also worth noting that you get the deal if you buy a Samsung 4K HD TV too but enough about that.

If you are thinking about taking advantage of this deal, then there are a few things you need to be aware of. Firstly, you do need to buy one of the already mentioned devices. Secondly, this is a retrospective deal, meaning that once you have bought the device you then need to visit this website to submit your claim for the year's free Netflix. Thirdly, this is a limited time (and number of claims) deal. The device must be bought between today and January 17th (11.59:59 pm ET). More importantly, there are only 115,000 claims possible. So there is a chance you could buy the device, make the claim and still not get the reward. Therefore, if you are interested you might want to act sooner rather than later. It is also worth noting that this deal is only for US citizens. Those caveats aside, the deal is a good one.
