Over the last few weeks (and no doubt over the weeks to come) we have heard some wild speculation about two particular devices, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the HTC One M9. Besides the fact that these are both new flagship devices from two big android manufacturers, they have gained considerably more attention this time round, as they are both coming with some extraordinary rumoured specs. If you were to believe everything you hear, then these are the phones to beat all phones. That said, a number of the claims contradict each other and as such we have to try and decipher between what is likely and what is not.
The latest rumored rumbling in the news today surrounds the Samsung Galaxy S6 and a new case which seems to have become available for the device. The case does not confirm too much about the device, with the exceptions that it suggests the LED flash has moved to the right of the camera, instead of below like on the Samsung Galaxy S5. Not to mention the case also had two slits on the top of device, which could be attributed to either speaker slits or maybe a fingerprint scanner.
That said, the issue with this image is that it comes from the same source as what was apparently a leaked case for the HTC One M9 only last week. The cases are only renders and seem too alike in their general appearance. It almost seems that one case has been quickly mocked up to match a couple of the possible specs being touted for the Samsung Galaxy S6. As a result, on this occasion, this is one rumor that is probably less worth paying attention to. Of course, the case could look like this, although, after last week's sudden appearance of the HTC One M9 case and now this one, they are becoming less likely to be true. Just so there is no confusion the image above is the reported S6 case and the image below is the reported M9 case. But what do you think? Is the above image the case for the Samsung Galaxy S6? Was last week's case (below) the case for the HTC One M9? Let us know your opinion.
