The Galaxy Note Edge To Land In Malaysia Next Month; Samsung Released A New Note Edge Ad

Samsung has announced the Galaxy Note Edge back in September, at the company's pre-IFA event. This device surprised a lot of people, it is one of Samsung's odd devices that they like to release from time to time in order to see how will the public react to it. This thing features a curved Edge screen on the right side which offers a ton of features on its own, it works as a separate panel though it collaborates with the main screen, of course. The Galaxy Note Edge also packs all the Galaxy Note 4's features on the inside, including the S Pen stylus. That being said, this thing is now available in select markets and it seems like it's set to continue its expansion.

The Galaxy Note Edge will soon launch in Malaysia, to be more exact, this phablet will be available next month, February. Just in time for this launch, Samsung has released a new ad for the Galaxy Note Edge, using the tagline 'Life of the Extreme". This ad is very odd, I suggest you take a look at it yourself, there's a YouTube video embedded below this article. In case you don't want spoilers, skip right to the video. The ad actually shows 2 thrill-seeking wealthy men who use Galaxy Note Edge's functions during the ad, and play tic-tac-toe while falling from the sky (skydiving). Sounds odd? Well, that's because it is.

The Galaxy Note Edge comes with a 5.6-inch 2K (2560 x 1600) display along with 3GB of RAM and 32 or 64GB of internal storage (expandable via MicroSD card up to 128GB). This handset is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor clocked at 2.7GHz which comes with an Adreno 420 GPU for graphics. 16-megapixel OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) camera is located at the back of the device while there's a 3.7-megapixel shooter included up front. The device measures 151.3 x 82.4 x 8.3mm and weighs 174 grams. Android 4.4.4 KitKat comes pre-installed on this device with Samsung's Revolving UX on top of it. 3,000mAh battery is also part of the package and should be enough to get you through the day.

This device will cost RM3,499 in Malaysia, which comes to about $963. This price is kind of insane, but in case you want to purchase a copy, keep in mind that the quantities will be limited.
