Fugoo Announces their Larger Fugoo XL Bluetooth Speakers at CES 2015

Fugoo XL Speakers

It's officially CES time. We'll see some press conferences today and many more tomorrow. So there's going to be a lot of new products announced in the next few days. You'll definitely want to keep your eyes locked on Android Headlines. Fugoo has just announced a new line of speakers. It's the Fugoo XL. This is the successor to their Fugoo Style which they announced last year at CES, and we also reviewed. The Fugoo XL is a larger Bluetooth Speaker and still promises at least 35 hours of continuous playback, which is pretty amazing. As most other speakers are sitting at around 10-12 if they are lucky.

The Fugoo XL has 24 watts of audio power using four neodymium tweeters, two neodymium aluminum domed mid-woofers and two passive radiators. So for those that aren't audiophiles out there, that's a lot of power, and should give you some amazing audio for your music, movies, or whatever you are listening to through this speaker.

Fugoo uses the Core + Jacket design, which basically means you can get a waterproof speaker, or change the jacket and get a very rugged speaker that you can probably run over with a truck and still have no damage. Fugoo will have the Style XL, Sport XL and Tough XL jackets at their booth as well as Pepcom and Showstoppers this week. So be sure to check those out if you are heading to CES this week. The Style XL and Sport XL jackets are made of new material that actually lets the speaker float. Which is pretty awesome for in the pool or even at the beach.

These speakers are completely waterproof according to Fugoo, and even shock proof and snow proof. Which is definitely nice to have in a speaker. The Fugoo Style XL and Sport XL will be priced at $299, while the Tough XL will be $329. And if they are anything like the Fugoo Style and Sport from last year, it'll definitely be worth the price. The Fugoo XL and all of it's accessories should be available in the US in April. No word on availability in other regions just yet. We'll be sure to update this post as we learn more.
