It’s a new year, which means we all have new years resolutions for a better you in 2015. And usually that means we want to lose some weight and get in shape, or stay in shape. So we’ve got a few apps that should help you out with that. These are our top 10 apps to get you fit in 2015!
Wear Fitness Personal Trainer
Get fit with this personal trainer. You can have the app personalize a workout for you, as well as choose your fitness level. It’s super customizable for everyone, young and old.
Google Fit is integrated into every Android Wear smartwatch out there. It tracks your steps, where you’re walking, running, cycling, etc., and so much more. You can check your steps and stuff on your smartwatch as well as your smartphone and at fit.google.com, making this app a breeze to use.
UP – Requires UP/UP24/UP MOVE
UP by Jawbone is a great app companion for your UP band. It can track your sleep, your workouts, and your daily activity. There’s also a leader board so you can compete against others.
Strava Running and Cycling GPS
With Strava, you can follow routes you’ve created or found and view your activity map as you record it. The app also gives you stats like pace, speed, distance, elevation gained and calories burned.
Calorie Counter by FatSecret
Want to keep track of the calories you are intaking everyday? Well Calorie Counter is a great app for that. You can input the food you’ve eaten today into your diary and it’ll keep track of how many calories you are consuming each day.
Runtastic Running & Fitness
Runtastic is one of my favorite apps for going on a run or even a walk. It’ll keep track of where you’ve ran using GPS, also keep track of how far, the calories burned and more for each day you’ve run.
RunKeeper – GPS Track Run Walk
Another good running app is RunKeeper, which also uses GPS to track your runs. It’ll keep track of the distance and calories burned as well so you can see how well you’ve done.
Fitbit is also a great app, but you need to have a Fitbit to use it. The app can track your steps, calories burned, your sleeping patterns, and also your workouts. The best part is the leaderboards, so you can compete against your friends.
30 Day Fitness Challenges
Want to compete in a 30-day fitness challenge? Then this is the app that you’re going to want to check out. It breaks things down into Upper Body, Core, Lower Body, Cardio and more.
The Nike+ Running is another running app which is actually really good. It challenges you to run more as well faster. It’s a great motivating app that all runners should definitely check out.
