One of the big surprises of this year was Polaroid and their sudden entry into the smartphone domain. Coming from being a camera manufacturing and suddenly pushing out android devices is no mean feat. That said, the former-camera-now-smartphone company were present at CES with their new andorid devices. As such we were there to get hands on with them. This one is the recently announced Polaroid Selfie smartphone. The name is probably enough to tell you who this camera is aimed at, but dont let the name fool you as this smartphone does come with some decent specs.
The Polaroid Selfie comes with a 5.5" HD IPS display with a 1280 x 720 resolution. Inside, the Polaroid Selfie comes loaded with 2GB RAM and powered by an Octa-core processor. As this is dubbed a 'Selfie' camera you would expect a good front facing camera. Well, technically, this one does not contain a front facing camera at all. That does not mean you cannot take your selfies though. On the back, there is a 13MP camera and this is a rotatable camera meaning you can swing it around and it suddenly becomes a front-facing selfie shooter. Additional notable features on offer include WiFI, Bluetooth 4.0 and running on Android 5.0 (Lollipop).
