Belkin Unveils New Line of Accessories at CES 2015


Belkin International displayed their new product lineup at the Consumers Electronics Show (CES) 2015 in Las Vegas.  Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Playa Vista, Los Angeles, California, it is one of the leading tablet and smartphone accessory providers that sells various types of connectivity devices, for both commercial and consumer usage – including routers, surge protectors, network switches, hubs, USB and computer cables of all sorts and other peripherals.  Melody Tescon, Director of Product Management said, "Belkin's mobile solutions meet the highest standards in the industry, and are certified to safely charge a variety of devices.  Whether you are at home or on-the-go, our solutions are designed to aesthetically fit your personal style."

Belkin's new 2015 lineup include a range of charging solutions including a Qi Wireless Charging Pad, Power Pack 2000, MIXITâ†' Power Pack 4000; as well as new metallic colorways for the MIXITâ†' collection which includes auxiliary and charging cables, and home and car chargers.  The Qi Wireless Charging Pad will be available in April for $39.99 and will provide the user with seamless charges for Samsung, Nokia and all other Qi-enabled devices.  According to their press release, it consists of a "Qi-certified charger delivers charge to your phone wirelessly – 1-amp output for fast charging – Stylish and portable design – Soft charging pad prevents scratching and slipping – Compatible with any Qi-enabled smartphone – and includes wall adapter and micro-USB-to-USB cable.

The new MIXITâ†' Power Pack 4000 is a portable charging solution that allows its user to charge two devices at the same time via a USB cable when there is no access to a power outlet.  According to Belkin, it is a "Portable backup charging solution for your mobile devices – Two USB ports (2.4A shared output) – Rated at 4,000 mAh for hours of charge – Compatible with any USB-enabled device – and is available in black, blue, green, pink."  It will be available in June for $29.99 and also the Power Pack 2000 for charging one device at a time will also be available in June for $19.99.


The MIXITâ†' Metallic "Car Charger plugs directly into your car's DC connector – Charges your smartphone, tablet, or other mobile device up to 40 percent faster than ordinary 5-watt chargers – Compatible with any USB charging cable (sold separately) – Low-profile design blends with car interior – Smart circuitry protects your device from power spikes – and is available in gold, silver, grey, metallic black and pearl white."  The MIXITâ†' Metallic Home Charger has the same specifications, except that it plugs into any convenient AC outlet, rather than the car's DC connector. These will be available in May within a price range of $19.99 – $29.99.
