As we wait for the announcement of the Xiaomi Redmi 1S 4G or the Redmi 2S (depending on which rumors you choose to believe) which will take place soon, we have some additional Xiaomi news to share with you. Another leaked image popped up allegedly showing off Xiaomi Mi4S, a device which is rumored to be released by Xiaomi this month. Company's CEO, Lei Jun, announced recently that the company will release their new flagship handset this month, and most of us assumed Xiaomi will release the Mi5, but that might not be the case. Xiaomi Mi4 launched back in July, so it seems a bit early for Xiaomi to launch the Mi5, but they might compromise and release the Mi4S this month after all. There is no way we can confirm how legit this leak is, it might be just a render after, but it's certainly interesting.
The phone in the image looks great if you ask me, so great that I truly doubt its launch is probable. The bezels are incredibly thin and to be quite honest it look more like a fan made render than a phone we'll see launched soon. The Mi5 is rumored to sport a 5.5 or a 5.7-inch QuadHD display, 3GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 810 SoC and a 20.7-megapixel camera, but we didn't get any leaks when it comes to the Mi4S though. The leaked poster which you can see above this article, not only shows the alleged Xiaomi Mi4S handset, but it also says that the device will sport a faster processor, better display and the most powerful camera in the world. Sounds fake? Yeah, we think so as well, but anything is possible. Either way you look at it, we'll see a new Xiaomi flagship launched this month, the only question is, will it be the Mi4S or the Mi5. Also, keep in mind that Xiaomi won't launch this thing on CES, the company has confirmed that they won't be attending that tech event in Las Vegas, so… we won't be seeing anything Xiaomi-related launched there for sure.
Do you like the leaked render and do you believe this is the Mi4S handset? I personally don't think so even though I'd like for it to happen, but the leak just seems… well, a bit off.
