Nokia is back, not that they were away, but they were in Microsoft's shackles in a way for a long time. Nokia's Devices and Services business was sold to Microsoft and it seemed like Nokia is about to shut its door, but that didn't happen. Nokia managed to produce a rather solid tablet last year, the Nokia N1. This Finnish company is not officially allowed to manufacture smart devices until 2016, as per their contract with Microsoft, but Nokia found a loophole in that deal. The company has hired Foxconn to manufacture this thing for them, and tablet has been a success in China thus far, the only market it's currently available in. This thing will launch in Europe next month and we'll see how many people will be interested, but Nokia is off to a solid start, they sold out everything they have two times already in China, third batch will arrive soon. It will take time for Nokia to get back to its feet properly, but they can do it if they keep this up.
That being said, Nokia seems to be working on other smart devices as well. The Nokia C1 smartphone has leaked several times now, and it seems like the real deal. Another Nokia-branded product might be on the way though, a new image leaked showing of the alleged Nokia laptop. The source didn't reveal any sort of specs or release date info, so all we have to go on thus far is this image and the fact that this thing will be available in red color and sport dual OS setup (probably Windows and Android). The source does say that this laptop will launch alongside the Nokia C1 smartphone though.
The aforementioned image doesn't show only the Nokia laptop, Nokia N1 tablet and the alleged C1 smartphone are also pictured in the image, as you can see below this article. I don't know what to think of this to be quite honest, Nokia N1 leaked in a similar fashion a couple of months prior to its launch, so… but I quite frankly doubt this is real, oh well, we'll find out soon I guess. If there's any truth to this image, we'll hear more information about this device soon, no doubt.
