Christmas has come and gone and it’s time for the weekend, and with that another homescreen to sink your teeth into. This week’s pick is called Material V4, and as you can see it takes on a rather Material Design inspired look with some bold colors and the Lollipop style buttons you find in Material Design styled apps. Like all of our pics this homescreen setup is going to require you have a few applications installed to re-create this design, so let’s get into it.
First and foremost, you’ll need to install all the apps that were used to design this homescreen. You’ll need a third party home launcher like Nova Prime or Apex pro. You’ll also need Zooper Widgets pro so you can install and place the widget files on your homescreen, and lastly you’ll need Popup Widgets, and Media Utilities for the music actions and controls. Once you have all of those installed, head to the source link below, jump to the link that the designer has provided there, and grab the download of the Zooper files.(the widgets)Now that you have everything you can begin the process for the setup. Make sure your grid size is set to 6 x 6, and set your number of homescreens to 3.
Next you’ll want to make sure and hide the navigation bar down at the bottom as well as the dock. After that the next and final steps are to place the Zooper files you downloaded into the correct folder, you’ll need a file explorer to move these. When the widget files are in the correct Zooper folder simply head to your homescreen and long press on each homescreen to find and select the Zooper widgets, and go through adding each one to the homescreens until you’re done. Hopefully you liked this setup, and if you did be sure to hit the love button and zoom the image at the source link to show some appreciation for the creators hard work in designing this. Have a good weekend and happy holidays, and as always happy themeing!
