We first posted this last week, but Motorola is putting their Moto X (2014) on sale for $140 off of the off-contract price, making it $359. Which is a damn good price for this phone. I've actually been using the Moto X on Lollipop for the past week, and absolutely love it. There's a few weird quirks here and there but nothing too crazy. The Moto X has a 5.2-inch 1920x1080 resolution display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of storage and a 13MP camera on the back. There's also a 2300mAh battery inside.
Here's how this whole thing is gonna work out. Right now you can go to Motorola's website and sign up for a promo code. You'll get that code later on today (usually it's within a few hours). Once you get your promo code for $140 off, you'll be able to design your Moto X and order it anytime between now and December 12th. So you don't have to rush to get your design, colors and materials picked out ahead of time. Although it's still a good idea to get that done anyways. Because these materials may sell out quickly, as they have in the past.
It's pretty simple, and I actually prefer Motorola doing it this way, because we will still have time to design our Moto X and not rush the process. As we know the promo codes will be gone pretty quickly. As usual, it's limited to just one per customer. Or per email address. Once you get your promo code, go ahead and start designing your Moto X. Also don't forget that accessories for the Moto X are also 30% off today. So you can pick up a nice bumper case, or some screen protectors pretty cheap too.
How many of you are going to be grabbing a Moto X today from Motorola? Be sure to let us know in the comments down below.
