Meizu has had a great year thus far, the company has launched their MX4 handset back in September and the sales have been going great ever since. The demand was so significant when it comes to this device that Meizu actually had issues manufacturing enough handsets in time, the company took care of that rather quick and bring everything back on track. Last month, this company launched the MX4 Pro handset which is basically their new flagship, that seemed odd considering they launched it only two and a half months after the original MX4 launched, but it seems Meizu hit yet another home run with this launch. Meizu MX4 Pro was pre-ordered over 6.7 million times in the first two weeks of pre-order availability, which are great numbers for the company.
That being said, we've seen Meizu K52 pop up on GFXBench listing a while back and Meizu teased its launch (or so we thought) for today, but it turns out that's not the case. Meizu only teased that they'll announce the launch date today, which is rather odd, but we'll take it. The company has announced an event for December 23rd (as our sources told us a couple of days ago) where we'll see some really exciting products according to a report. The leaked Meizu K52 will be called Meizu Blue Charm and it will launch on said date alongside the rumored Blue Charm Note phablet. This new "Blue Charm" product line will eventually include a router, television set, smartband, etc. We're still not clear on what we'll see announced on December 23rd, but we're rather certain Meizu will unveil the Blue Charm and Blue Charm Note handsets.
Meizu Blue Charm will feature a 4.6-inch 1080p display along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. MediaTek's MT6752 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz will power on this handset along with Mali T760 GPU for graphics processing. 13-megapixel camera is expected to be a part of this package as well and this is quite probably going to be a dual-SIM device. The other device which was leaked (though we haven't seen its specifications on GFXBench or anything similar to that) is a Blue Charm Note phablet. This device is rumored to sport the same specifications as the Blue Charm, except for its display which is expected to be somewhat bigger at 5.5-inches, but the resolution will stay the same. Both of these handsets will come in a variety of colors and will quite probably sport Meizu's "dot" capacitive home button below the display. As far as pricing goes, the rumored 799 Yuan ($129) price is not exactly probable, even Meizu's VP Li Nan said so, but a price between a 1000 and a 1300 Yuan ($162-$210) is, on the other hand, more than likely.
