Lindsay Lohan Looking To Take On Kim Kardashian With Her Own New Celebrity Game

After the recent success of Kim Kardashian's recent android game, 'Kim Kardashian Superstar' you might expect other "stars" to follow suit. This is especially after the recent reports that the Kardashian game made over $43 million in Q3. Well, it looks like they are as last week saw the launch of another new fame game. This offering though was brought to you by a probably more unusual source, Lindsay Lohan. For a brief summary, Lohan's game 'The Price of Fame' is similar to the Kardashian game in principle and based on the notion that the player has to progress through the celebrity social hierarchy, achieving greater and greater global recognition and so forth.

However, in contrast to Kardashian's game, it is difficult to know whether Lohan and Co intended this to be a serious game or more of a satirical look on celebrity life. Some of the game elements really do suggest this is meant as more of a mocking of the celebrity world. To quote the Google Play description "wear a space helmet with a see-through dress, high heels, a solid gold mask, and hang out with a pet tiger". As you can see, it is difficult to know whether this is meant sarcastically or not as this description could be a serious take on celebrity life too. In terms of the game, the premise is rather simple. Swipe up to progress through the game (which means acquiring an ever-increasing number of fans). The more fans you get, the more coins (money presumably) you get. Coins can then be further used to improve your lifestyle like talking on a raw diet or buying a coconut water. These changes further allow to progress through the social rankings and becoming more famous.

If you are interested in giving Lohan's Price of Fame a try then you can download the game now from the Play Store. The game is free to download although does contain those pesky IAPs and they do range up to $99.99 per item so unless you have a celebrity amount of cash in your pocket then do be careful. That said, the app is available and runs on all versions of android 2.3.3 and up. Will you be giving Price of Fame a try? Lohan or Kardashian?
