Lenovo is doing really great as a company, no matter if we talk about the company's PC or smartphone business. Lenovo is the biggest PC manufacturer in the world, so that is company's main business, but they've been doing really well in the smartphone world as well. Lenovo actually managed to climb its way up to 4th place in that department, which is commendable. Anyhow, we're not here to talk about Lenovo's business success, but company's recently announced S90 Sisley smartphone.
As you might recall, Lenovo launched S90 Sisley handset back in November. That handset is the spitting image of Apple's iPhone 6 and there's no way around it, just take a look at the image above this article. Lenovo even used the same wallpaper as Apple did when they introduced the phone and to make things even worse, their press images were rather similar as well. This handset isn't the high-end offering you might think though, this is Lenovo's mid-ranger and it's not exactly smart to speculate if there's any innuendo here, but there might be. This might be Lenovo's way of, well, sticking it to Apple, though that might not be the case. Either way, this handset resembles the iPhone 6 a whole lot.
Lenovo S90 Sisley is making its way to stores as we speak and it's priced at $239.99 at Vifocal for example. What do you get for such a price? Well, let's see. Lenovo S90 Sisely features a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) Super AMOLED display, which is a rare thing to see outside of Samsung's devices, so this was a surprise of sorts when this handset first launched. This device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 410, a 64-bit quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz which comes with an Adreno 306 GPU for graphics processing. Lenovo Sisley features 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It comes sporting dual-SIM connectivity and NFC is also a part of the package. 2300mAh battery ships with the device and Android 4.4.4 KitKat comes pre-installed. On the back of this handset, you'll find a 13-megapixel camera while there's an 8-megapixel snapper on the front side of the device. Lenovo S90 also comes with 4G LTE support, which is always welcomed, of course.
The $239.99 price tag isn't exactly something I'd call extremely affordable considering this device's specifications, but that also depends on where do you live, of course. It might be extremely affordable to some consumers and this is a solid device, no doubt. So, if you're interested, go for it.
