Huawei's Newly Announced Honor 6 Plus Handset Gets Unboxed

The much-rumored Huawei Honor 6 Plus got announced yesterday in China alongside the Honor 4X handset, though the Honor 6 Plus was definitely the main attraction of the day. This handset is a really powerful piece of technology, not only does it sport great build but it has extremely powerful specifications as well, not to mention the two 8-megapixel cameras on the back of the device which allegedly offer great shots. The handset isn't even expensive, quite on the contrary, it is available for pre-order in China now. The regular 3G variant costs 1,999 Yuan ($325), while the dual 4G model will set you back 2,499 Yuan ($407). The device will go on sale on December 23rd, in case you don't want to pre-order it. There's still no word on international availability, but Huawei will, hopefully, give us some additional info soon.

That being said, Sina Technology has unboxed the device and gave us a closer look at what's in the box. If you'd like to check that out, visit the gallery which is located below this article, you'll find a ton of images in there and you'll be able to see basically every part of this handset as well as the content of the packaging. You'll get a pretty good look at that metal, glass and plastic combination which Huawei used to build this device, which will look rather familiar if you've even seen the Honor 6 handset or perhaps even handled one.

The Honor 6 Plus features a 5.5-inch 1080p display along with 3GB of RAM and 16 (3G / 4G) or 32GB (4G) of internal storage (expandable via MicroSD card up to 128GB). This handset is powered by Huawei's very own Kirin 925 octa-core processor (quad Cortex A15 & quad Cortex A7), that's not all though, this handset features an extra processor on the side which is called ISP (Dedicated Signal Image Processor) which is in charge of some side tasks it seems, like camera processing and similar stuff. Mali T628 MP4 GPU is here to take care of graphics processing and this device has two 8-megapixel cameras on the back, while there's a 8-megapixel camera on the front side of the device. 3600mAh battery is included in this device, which should be more than enough for your daily use.
