Google's Santa Tracker Helps You Keep Tabs On The Bearded Gift Bearer

Unless you're a scrooge who hates Christmas and says Hum Bug all day long day in and day out(John.. ahem)then you should probably take a look at Google's awesome Santa tracker web page so you can keep tabs on old St. Nick while he gets himself and his team of helper elves ready for the approaching Holiday, which in case you weren't aware is little more than a day and a half away. At the time of posting Google's little tool tells us that Santa is a mere 8 hours, 33 minutes and 57 seconds away from taking off with his reindeer powered sled to deliver gifts to the good boys and girls around the world. Of course it will be less than that by the time you read this.

Google's Santa Tracker isn't just about tracking Santa though, there's some fun quirks on the site that you still have a little bit of time to check out before they completely disappear. Currently the "what's new today" marker on the page brings up a rather adorable little YouTube animated short that displays Santa asleep in the front of the fire, dreaming of flying through the skies without the need for the reindeer or his sleigh, as you can see from the image below.

Go ahead and pop on over to the Santa Tracker website to give things the once over, or the twice over, or even the thirds over if you feel like it. There's also an Android compatible app version of the Santa Tracker which you can stream to the Chromecast so you can see things on the big screen, which actually might be a great thing to bring up if you have kids or nieces and nephews. When you visit the Santa Tracker it'll bring up the current day's new addition, but you can also backtrack through the days of December and see all the other fun stuff that Google was able to concoct in celebrations of this major holiday. Embolden your Christmas spirit and hit the source link below to visit the Santa Tracker, because, why not?
