Fido Launches $105 Monthly Max Plan with 3GB Data

The carriers in Canada seem to be changing or adding plans on a weekly basis - Rogers, Bell and TELUS have all introduced a $70 a month plan - all within weeks of one another. Fido recently added a 5GB plan to its Standard Plans options for $94 a month and a 5GB Smart Plans options for $99 per month. With the holidays coming around, WIND Mobility and Mobilicity have recently introduced some of their own plans for the holidays. Not wanting to be left out of the festivities, Fido is now joining that party as well by adding its own new plan - a new Max Plan available on a two-year Tab24 agreement for $105 a month.

It sounds like a lot (okay, it is) but it is a third option for the Tab24 tier that offers up to a $450 subsidy on a premium smartphone contract - aimed directly at the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Just remember, this plan does not apply to SK/MB/QC, but for those that are eligible and want the maximum subsidy for buying an iPhone, this could be the plan for you. This plan will give you unlimited Canada-Wide anytime minutes, unlimited international text, picture and video messages. You also get Call Display, Voicemail and Circle Calling. You get the 3GB of data and any data over that limit will run you $10 for 500MB.

This type of plan is really best for someone that uses a lot of data or wants to buy an expensive iPhone. With Fido, the top Android smartphones you have a choice of is the Samsung Galaxy S5 that will cost you $300 on the two-year Tab24 Smart Plan and after that there is the HTC One M8 for $250 on the same agreement. The rest of the phones on the Smart Plans will cost you $0 - Samsung Galaxy S4, Google Nexus 5, ZTE Grand X Plus, HTC Desire 510, Moto G LTE and Sony Xperia M2. Then there is their two-year Tab24 Standard Plan and any of these devices will cost you $0 - Samsung Galaxy Core LTE and Samsung Galaxy S III Mini.

Please hit us up on our Google+ Page and let us know if you plan to take advantage of any of the special plans being offered... as always, we would love to hear from you.
