AH Awards 2014: Best Racing Game Of The Year

Racing games have always been a staple of gaming, dating back to the early NES days. There are loads of racing games on Android, and man are there some great ones. There are different types too, whether you enjoy real life like racing simulation or prefer the drag and drift styles. Some of them have gorgeous graphics, while others focus more on the fun and gameplay aspects. Check out our picks for the best racing games of the year.

Winner: Unpossible

This is a little different than your standard racing titles, specifically from the other two in this list. Regardless this was one heck of a racing game. Instead of racing vehicles through city streets and trying to grab first place, you're racing around a tube with what looks like a futuristic Tron inspired city in the background, trying to dodge obstacles and beat the timer. It will test your skills and your reflexes and before you know it you'll be begging to play more. just remember, moderation. There are multiple difficulties so when you start to get better, you can ramp up the challenge by changing to a harder difficulty and continue testing yourself. It also has some pretty gorgeous graphics which is always great in a racing game.

Runner Up: Asphalt 8 - Airborne

This is easily one of the best racing games out there. It has plenty of gorgeous graphics, lots of vehicles for to collect and race and tons of intense action filled, heart pounding races whether in campaign mode or online multiplayer. You'll race in tons of exotic locations, 9 different ones in all, across 8 seasons including 180 events in campaign mode. There's also some really great music in the soundtrack to keep the game feeling upbeat and energized, and the cool ghost challenges will let you race against your friends even when they're not online.

Honorable Mention
